Concert Infrastructure selected to deliver six new schools across Alberta

March 2, 2026, Vancouver, BC — Concert Infrastructure has reached Financial Close to deliver P3 School Bundle #6, a public-private partnership (P3) with the Government of Alberta that will add six new schools in Calgary, Edmonton, Airdrie and Cochrane. The schools are expected to be available for use by February 29, 2028, creating space for more than 5,300 students and alleviating enrolment pressures in some of Alberta’s fastest-growing communities.

The project will be delivered through Concert-Bird Partners, a consortium led and managed by Concert Infrastructure. Under the P3 model, Concert-Bird Partners will be responsible for the design, build, finance and long-term maintenance of the schools, supporting high-quality learning environments that are built to perform over their full lifecycle.

P3 School Bundle #6 builds on the consortium’s successful delivery of P3 School Bundle #2 in Alberta. Concert Infrastructure also brings a strong track record of delivering and managing multi-site P3 school programs in Alberta—including projects completed through Alberta Schools Alternative Procurement II and III—reinforcing the team’s experience supporting complex school infrastructure across the province.

“Alberta’s growing communities deserve modern schools that inspire learning, support educators and deliver high-quality educational environments built for long-term success,” says Derron Bain, Chief Executive Officer, Concert Infrastructure. “We are proud to continue our partnership with the Government of Alberta and to work alongside Bird, Wright, BR2 Architecture and Ainsworth as part of a team with proven expertise and experience delivering schools across Alberta.”

Concert-Bird Partners was selected following a competitive procurement process. The consortium includes:
