David Podmore

Chairman & Chief Executive Officer, Concert Properties

David Podmore has been involved in the real estate industry for over 30 years and is widely recognized as one of Vancouver’s most influential contributors to the industry. David brought years of planning and development experience to the table when he co-founded Concert with Jack Poole in 1989. Today David serves as Concert’s Chairman & Chief Executive Officer providing strategic direction and overall management of the company’s persified activities. David played an important role in the launching of Concert Infrastructure and will continue to provide high level strategic direction.

David currently serves as the Chair of the BC Pavilion Corporation and was directly involved in the Vancouver Convention Centre Expansion Project, bringing the project on schedule and delivering it within the approved budget. He is also overseeing the $565 million dollar renovation to BC Place Stadium, which includes the installation of the world’s largest cable suspended retractable roof.

During the bid for the Vancouver 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games, David led the venue development team that guided the planning for more than $600 million in new infrastructure. In addition, David developed the master infrastructure plan to guide development of the lands for the 1986 World Exposition in Vancouver.

 

Derron Bain

Vice President, Infrastructure

Derron oversees the day-to-day operations and investments of Concert Infrastructure and is responsible for managing the Concert Infrastructure Fund. With over ten years of industry experience, Derron has extensive expertise in the planning and delivery of complex alternative finance procurement and public-private partnership infrastructure projects. Derron has been directly responsible for more than $3.5 billion in public infrastructure projects.

Prior to joining Concert Infrastructure, Derron worked with the Ontario Infrastructure Projects Corporation where he served as Vice President of Project Delivery.

 

 

 

Ian Podmore

Manager, Infrastructure

Ian leads Concert Infrastructure’s project bids and investment processes. With over seven years of development experience, Ian has extensive expertise in the planning and delivery of complex building infrastructure projects.

Prior to joining Concert Infrastructure, Ian was Development Manager with Concert Properties Ltd.
