Forensic Services and Coroner's Complex

In June 2010, Concert secured its first public-private partnership project to design, build, finance and maintain the new 550,000 square foot Forensic Services and Coroner’s Complex which will be located at the Downsview Complex in Toronto, Ontario.

The project will be delivered using an alternative financing and procurement model with annual payments from the Ontario Ministry of Community Safety and Correctional Services over a 33-year term. The payments cover the design, construction, project financing and building maintenance for 33-years after the construction is finalized in 2013.

The project has a contract value of $497 million and an investment value of $345 million. Concert holds a fifty percent share in the project company and is pleased to be partnered with Carillion Canada on this project.
